Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Rigor Strategy ("Rigor Strategy", "we", "us" or "our") collects, uses, and protects your personal data when you visit rigorstrategy.com (the "Site"), contact us, or use our free Digital Maturity Compass assessment. We are committed to handling your information responsibly and transparently.

Who we are

Rigor Strategy is an operational excellence, Lean Six Sigma and digital transformation consultancy operating from Bahrain and serving clients in the GCC, India and globally. For any privacy-related questions, you can reach us at info@rigorstrategy.com. For the purposes of applicable data protection law, Rigor Strategy is the data controller for the personal data described in this policy.

What information we collect

We only collect personal data that you choose to provide, together with limited technical information needed to operate the Site securely. Specifically:

  • Contact enquiries. When you submit our contact form, we collect your name, email address, company (if provided), and the content of your message, so that we can respond to your enquiry.
  • Digital Maturity Compass assessment. If you use our free self-assessment tool and choose to receive your report, we collect your name and email address along with the answers you provide, so we can generate and send your results.
  • Technical and usage data. Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically logs basic technical information such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages you request. This is used for security, reliability, and to keep the Site running.

We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not track you across other websites. We do not knowingly collect special categories of sensitive personal data through the Site.

How we use your information

We use the personal data we collect to:

  • Respond to your enquiries and communicate with you about our services;
  • Generate and deliver your Digital Maturity Compass assessment report;
  • Operate, secure, and improve the Site and our services;
  • Comply with applicable legal and regulatory obligations.

We rely on your consent when you submit a form or request your assessment results, and on our legitimate interest in operating a secure, functional website and responding to people who contact us.

Service providers we use

We use a small number of trusted third-party providers to operate the Site. These providers process data on our behalf and may store or process information outside Bahrain, including in other countries:

  • Netlify — website hosting and delivery, including security logs.
  • Formspree — processing and delivering contact-form submissions to our email.
  • Google Fonts — delivering the typefaces used on the Site; this may involve your browser requesting font files from Google's servers, which can include your IP address.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to anyone. We only share it with the providers above as needed to run the Site, or where required by law.

Cookies

The Site uses only the minimal cookies and local storage required for core functionality (for example, remembering your progress within the assessment tool during your visit). We do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings at any time.

How long we keep your data

We retain enquiry and assessment data only for as long as necessary to respond to you, provide the service you requested, and meet our legitimate business and legal needs. When data is no longer required, we delete or anonymise it.

International transfers

Because we use the service providers listed above, your personal data may be processed in countries outside your own, including outside Bahrain. Where this happens, we take reasonable steps to ensure your data continues to be protected to a standard consistent with this policy.

Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may have the right to request access to the personal data we hold about you, to correct inaccurate data, to request deletion, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent you have given. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at info@rigorstrategy.com and we will respond within a reasonable timeframe.

Children

The Site and our services are intended for business and professional audiences and are not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal reasons. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
